Subsidies preschool
Does your child attend pre-school, is your child over the age of 2.5 years (2 years in Amsterdam) and are you not entitled to a childcare allowance? In that case you may be eligible for a subsidy from the city.
Subsidy from the city
You will receive a subsidy on the number of minimum and maximum childcare hours set by the city. The subsidy is income-related and is calculated on the maximum hourly rate set by the government. You can take more childcare hours if you wish, however, the extra costs will in that case be at your own expense.
Do you have a VVE indication (early-childhood education)? A separately fixed number of childcare hours applies, which means that your child must attend childcare for at least 16 hours a week. The subsidy on these 16 hours is calculated according to the subsidy scheme of the relevant city.
Learn more about the different subsidy schemes and check out the website of the City of Amstelveen or City of Amsterdam.
You do not have to apply for the city subsidy by yourself. We will do that for you and deduct it from your invoice. You will receive an invoice for your own parental contribution only.
Please contact the Child Planning Department on 020 – 426 08 66 or at kindplanning@kinderrijk.nl for a calculation of the costs.
