KinderRijk supports a valuable playground in Amstelveen
Exciting news from Speelboerderij Elsenhove (Elsenhove City Farm)! An unused part of the playground will soon be transformed into a hut village: five wooden playhouses where children can play freely, explore, and let their imagination run wild. This initiative is led by the Elsenhove City Farm Volunteers Foundation – and KinderRijk is proud to contribute.
As a not-profit organization, we believe in creating equal opportunities for every child. Playing in nature plays an important role in that. It encourages creativity, movement, and social interaction. That’s why KinderRijk is sponsoring one of the five wooden huts. With this, we help create a safe, sustainable play space for all children in and around Amstelveen.
Margreet Hellemons-van Dijk, board member of KinderRijk, recently handed over a symbolic cheque to city farm manager Margriet Spierings and Mark Schroeder-van ’t Schip of the Elsenhove City Farm Volunteers Foundation. Our name will appear on the hut, and we’re excited to see the hut village come to life soon.
