KinderRijk Kindcentrum De Horizon
Stichting KinderRijk was recently selected as De Horizon primary school’s new childcare partner. Since 1 September 2024 we are providing preschool and after-school care..
Our after-school care als already moved to the new premises (in the same street as the previous premises). We anticipate to move our preschool in early 2025. From that moment, we will also start day care at this location. In the new premises we will establish an integrated children’s centre together with De Horizon primary school.
By working intensively with De Horizon primary school, we will be able to build a good future for the children of Amstelveen.

Day care Kindcentrum De Horizon
Day care Kindcentrum De Horizon is a place where children aged 0-4 can develop naturally through fun and play. We anticipate to open our doors in January 2025.
With a wide range of activities aimed at aspects such as motor skills, language development, creativity, music, dance and movement, our enthusiastic educational staff provide a varied programme every day. Our day care will also feature an adventurous nature garden.

Preschool Kindcentrum De Horizon
At this location (by September 2024), we will be providing regular preschool as well as preschool care with Early Childhood Education (Dutch: VE) for 2 to 4-year-olds. In our toddler group, we use the Piramide and Logo3000 methods, a tool to increase children’s vocabulary in a natural and playful way.
In addition, we like to encourage the creativity and imagination of our toddlers and nature experience is an important focus.

After-school care Kindcentrum De Horizon
Our after-school care will (from September 2024) be sharing group rooms with the primary school, which ensures that the children feel familiar and safe.
Our committed and experienced team regularly organises activities such as cooking, sports or vegetable gardening. We also give the children the opportunity to share and discuss their ideas for activities. This allows them to further discover and develop their talents and passions.
