Is the care centre open all year round?
Day care and after-school care are open all year round, except for public holidays and KinderRijk seminar days. During holiday weeks and school closing days, after-school care is open all day. Preschool care is only open during school weeks (except for location Zuidas). KinderRijk’s locations will close at 5.30pm on Tuesday 24 and Tuesday 31 December 2024.

* This seminar day applies only to the MKC Mio Mondo location. All other locations will be open on that day.
** Besides the annual KinderRijk seminar day in April, we will be organising a seminar afternoon for our educational professionals. These will be conducted in October and November. Each location will be assigned to 1 of these afternoons. The assignment of locations by cluster will be determined in 2025.
*** In the old agreements for 51 weeks (which we no longer actively offer), there is no childcare during the days between Christmas and New Year’s.
