Child Mayor opens National Reading Days at KinderRijk

The National Reading Days have officially begun! Today, we celebrated the opening with a special moment: the child mayor read aloud to the youngest children at BSO Aalberselaan.

The picture book Rinus brought the story of a curious rhino and his grandfather beautifully to life. The children listened intently and clearly enjoyed the story. As a thank-you, they gave the child mayor handmade drawings.

At KinderRijk, we believe reading aloud is extremely important. It not only supports language development but also the imagination and empathy of children. That’s why we make it a habit to read aloud as often as possible at our locations.
